We have a regular programme of training runs prepared by our coaches. Please see the Programme tab for this month' activities and exact location of venues. The summer programe includes local RR10 series

In addition to the club organized runs members also arrange small training groups on an ad hoc basis. Members can mail our Google list and our Facebook group to find running partners and make travel arrangements.

Mondays - 6pm various locations

On Mondays we do 3-5 miles at a moderate pace from different venues. The 1st run of the month is always from the Cowherds/Commons, for the other weeks check the current programme. Monday runs start at 6pm sharp, for more information call Sue on 07702741462.

Wednesdays - Club night, 7pm Solent University

On Wednesdays we meet at Solent Uni East Park Terrace at 6.45 for the 7pm start. This is our most popular run so we usually divide the runners into a slower and a faster group. Depending on the programme we might do some hill or sprint excercises or just roam around the town. Of course we stick to well lit paths and we make sure not to leave anybody behind! Saturdays/Sundays

We currently don't offer any organized activies on the weekend. However, SRS members often team up for training runs or to participate in local races. Our members-only mailing list helps with the coordination.

Eastleigh

The Eastleigh branch of SRS offers four different runs each week. All runs start from the Hub Sports Pavilion on Bishopstoke Road. For info email Gin Tidridge at tidridge@gmail.com and check out the blog.

Improver Sessions 

Improvers can all run 5K (or nearly!) - we use a system called looping back to ensure that speedier runners aren't held back and that those who prefer a gentler pace are not left behind.  This can be a straight run, or may have some hills or even a little bit of speed work incorporated.
Every Monday 8-9pm
Every Tuesday 7-8pm
 
Advanced Sessions
Advanced can all run 5K in less than 35 minutes - we use the same looping back system as the Improver groups.  Again, this can be a straight run, or may have some hills or even a little bit of speed work incorporated.  Some runners from this session stay with me to do the 8pm session too.
